The Burton Karson Education Program

As Education Program Director for the Baroque Music Festival - Corona del Mar, Dr. Lindsey Strand-Polyak leads the Festival’s new Burton Karson Education Program — an initiative dedicated to bringing the joy of Baroque Music into classrooms and communities across Orange County.
Through engaging workshops, interactive performances, and collaborations with local schools and colleges, Lindsey and her team of Baroque specialists inspire students of all ages to explore early music with curiosity, creativity, and historical awareness.
Named in honor of the Festival’s founding Artistic Director, Dr. Burton Karson, the program continues his legacy of musical excellence by connecting young learners to the expressive power and cultural depth of Baroque music.

The Burton Karson Education Fund subsidizes the cost of these programs to lower the financial barrier to access to high quality musical education programs and events.
